Understand common finishes
Non-foil is the standard treatment for many cards. Traditional foil adds a reflective layer, while modern Magic releases may include treatments such as surge foil, etched foil, borderless or showcase versions. Treatment names are not interchangeable, so use the exact finish displayed on the product variant.
Choose the condition that suits your goal
Near Mint is commonly preferred for display collections and buyers who want minimal visible wear. Played cards can still be suitable for decks when condition matters less than function or price. Always rely on the condition stated for the available variant and review product images or notes when provided.
Check language before ordering
Cards in different languages may have different collector appeal and usability for a particular buyer. Confirm the listed language, especially for premium printings and cards intended for a matched collection.
